I am so proud

I am proud of all that I have achieved in life, but I am more proud of my friends who have worked extra long and hard toward their goals. I'm the type of person who starts with full steam and somewhere along the lines I lose motivation because I allow life to distract me. I have decided in 2006 that this will no longer be the case. I will finish all that I start and continue it with the fervor that I began it with. When I spoke with a close friend yesterday, who is about to finish medical school, I realized that she has so much passion what for what she does and I have no passion whatsoever for my job. Talking to her let me know that soon I will have to leave this place and pursue what it is I really love, writing and music. Thank you friend for sharing with me what you love. It may not seem like you said much, but it has always had an amazing impact on me. I have always been in awe of your commitment and dedication to the medical field. Hopefully a little bit of you has rubbed off on me and I can achieve those things in my writing.
