I will tell you about me.....

Now you tell me about you
I took this test

You are happy, driven, and status conscious.
You want everyone to know how successful you are.
Very logical, you see life as a game of strategy.
A bit of a loner, you prefer to depend on yourself.
You always keep your cool and your composure.
You are a born leader and business person.

Responsiblity

Responsiblity........
Who or what are u responsible for?
Lots of us (women) are not behaving in a responsible manner
I keep seeing this astronomical statistic for new HIV cases
Almost 3/4 of those new cases look like me
African-American women
Don't blame the DL phenomenon
Don't blame the men that cheat
I am am responsible for me
As you are responsible for you
My philosophy is "No Glove, No Love."
For me, promiscuity was/is never a good look
Somehow young women today see it as some type of sexual liberation
*shrugs*
My advice to you is be liberated enough to use protection
Don't be passive in your sexual experience and let someone else dictate your actions
Look in the mirror
Responsibility.....
Take hold of it and make it yours

Speaking things into existence

I choose my words very carefully when I speak. I never want to offend anyone with my speech nor do I want to be misunderstood. So I say to my ladies, pay attention to your language. My mother always told me if I wanted something to "claim it." But then there are some words or ideas that you should not put out there. Besides negative statements about your finances, their is a popular banter going on now that doesn't sit well with me.

Lately nicknames for significant or not so significant others has taken on a life of its own. Women referring to men as their "baby daddies"and men calling the women "wifey" when there is no wedding in the near future. I think that when you use these type of phrases you are definitely speaking things into existence. Refer to the man as the "father" of your child and perhaps he will become one and a good one at that. A man will not normally refer to a woman as his "wife" unless he has thought about it. I know there are always exceptions to the rule, but test it out and see if it works for you.
